  坐落于云南玉溪江川区大街星云路的李家山青铜器博物馆,是一座以收藏、保管和展示李家山古滇墓出土文物为主的专题性博物馆。该馆以1992年李家山古墓群出土的古滇文物为主,其年代约为战国中叶至西汉时期,器型以小巧为特征,生动自然中以小见大。且青铜器上各种动物形象逼真、造型准确、比例协调、细节处理精到,提炼出了最活泼生动的运动瞬间和最佳的表现形式。同时造型风格自由大胆、收放自如,充满了艺术灵性和浓郁的生活气息。

  李家山青铜器上的动物造型,多出现在祭祀的礼器和随葬的礼仪器具上,但更多的则出现在装饰品、乐器、兵器和日常用具上。最常见的动物造型,有牛、虎、豹、野猪、蛇、马、鱼、鹿、孔雀等。通过对自然界的观察,我们能够发现古代滇人制作的青铜器动物造型,通常来源于真实发生、亲眼所见的。而透过这些青铜器上的动物造型,另会发现原来这世界上,还有一些人与动物、动物与动物之间的故事,已经发生或正在发生。由此专业人士认为,古滇国人的信仰是自然崇拜,认为天地万物皆有灵性;故对人力不可抗拒的自然灾害、外侵力量,持有敬畏心理,并赋予其较为神秘的色彩。

  云南是“孔雀的故乡”。而孔雀是云南独有的鸡形鸟类,通常栖息在海拔2000米以下的河谷地带,且平均海拔1700米的抚仙湖区域非常适合孔雀生存。这件“西汉孔雀形铜镇”(图1),长13、高10.9厘米。其整体为孔雀形,身略作椭圆形,昂首,头翎呈镂孔漩涡状,展翅开屏,尾屏为多个镂孔漩涡连成图案,平底,实心,腹内灌注锡或铅。此为压镇之物。滇国境内因气候炎热、多雨潮湿,房屋内仅铺白竹编或草编的凉席,为避免席子滑动或卷边,需在席的两端或四隅压置镇物。而从此铜孔雀制作的精美、生动程度推测,在古滇国时期人们已经开始了孔雀的饲养。

  云南因气候和地理环境的原因,历来是众多蛇类聚居的地方。蛇的习性喜阴,总是潜伏在阴暗处袭击人畜;它在古滇国较常见,且毒蛇种类较多。蛇虽伤害人畜,但从器物上看滇人只是把蛇作为大自然中的一员,并没有敌视或太在乎它的杀伤力,反映出滇人强大的心理和对生活的自信。滇人把蛇形放于器物底部,体现出人与自然的关系和生活形态的一个方面。这件“西汉蛇纲网状铜器”(图2),高24、长31.7厘米。其整体作圆形网兜状,方格网状孔,一蛇贯穿其中。前端蛇头昂首鼓目,蛇口大张,显露尖锐锯齿,颈部前后蜿曲,腹面扁平,背面中线起脊棱,头颈部有菱形鳞纹,腹面有横格鳞纹。后端蛇尾作浮雕缠于圆口形銎上。此器在滇文化墓地中极为罕见,仅见于江川李家山墓地,其用途尚不明确,有学者认为是水田或水中使用的打捞器;也有学者认为,此器在大型男性墓内置于长兵器和仪仗器中,或是专用的仪仗器。

  李家山青铜器塑造的猎捕的场面,撕咬瞬间的造型同样生动逼真。如这件长12.3、宽6.5厘米的“战国二人猎猪铜扣饰”(图3)。器物为两人、一猪、二犬立于一长蛇上,以圆雕手法表现了猎手在猎犬协助下猎捕野猪时艰险的场景。背面有一矩形扣。两猎者头顶梳高髻,佩大耳环,臂戴多道镯,身着长衫及膝,腰系带,膝下系饰兽尾,光着脚。此种装扮多见于祭祀场面中的舞者,似为专事祭祀的巫师或祭司。再如这件长12.5、宽12厘米的“战国二骑士猎鹿铜扣饰”(图4)。其表现两猎手各骑一马,手持长矛作刺鹿状。马前二鹿奋力狂奔,其中一鹿被刺倒地,有一只猎犬扑向鹿身,张口欲噬。器身下部横卧一条蛇,口咬马尾,尾绕猎犬后腿。背面有一矩形扣。猎手梳高髻,饰羽翎。此装扮多见于滇青铜器上的巫师、舞蹈者和武士形象。至今云南少数民族中仍见有饰羽毛或羽翎的习俗。

  纵观上述动物造型的青铜器,我们可见李家山青铜文化所反映出的战国至西汉时期,古滇国人与自然的相互依存关系,同时可知其折射出的敏锐观察力、对整个生存环境的深层思考。一方面,人与自然是亲和的,体现了人对自然的敬畏和对美好生活的向往;另一方面,体现了恶劣环境中生存竞争的残酷,及人类改造自然的信心。而它们的艺术内核,更是高度渗透了生命意识与象征意味,并且不可扼制!
