Wu Diantang, male, born November 22, 1953, Han ethnicity, from Boxing County, Binzhou City, Shandong Province. Current positions: Executive Vice President of the Chinese Planners“ Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Visiting Professor at Taiwan Yu Da University (selected as a member of the board for International Brand and National Gift Artists, and a Grade 1 painter at the Ministry of Culture and Cultural Arts Center in celebration of the convening of the 19th National Congress). In 2003, his work ”Qi Tun Shan He" (Pride of the Nation) won a gold medal in celebration of the 55th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and the work was included in historical art albums. In 2008, his works "Dragon Longevity Picture" and "Pine Longevity Picture" won world gold medals at the China Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition for the Beijing Olympics, and the works were collected and included in historical art albums. In May 2016, multiple central media outlets interviewed him, and his works "Dragon Longevity Picture," "Pine Longevity Picture," and "Flower and Bird Rooster Picture" were published on Baidu, with reports from China.com, Health.com, the News Department of the Supreme People's Procuratorate of China, China Television News, Lubei Evening News, and Binzhou Television. On May 13, 2017, he served as a judge on the variety channel's "Yi Lan Tian Xia" program on China Central Television, and received an award certificate for his work selected and awarded in celebration of the victorious convening of the 19th National Congress. In 2018, in celebration of the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up, his works "Dragon Longevity Picture," "Pine Longevity Picture," and "Family Portrait," along with his portrait, were selected for postage stamps in France and worldwide. In 2018, his work won a gold medal in celebration of the 125th anniversary of Chairman Mao Zedong's birth. In 2019, he served as the chief reviewer for contracted painters at the CCTV Calligraphy and Painting Spring Festival Gala. In 2019, in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, his works including "Think Twice in All Matters," "Family Portrait," "Harvest Picture," "Auspicious Ruyi Picture," "Chinese Dragon Longevity," and "Chinese Pine Crane Longevity" were selected for worldwide postage stamps. In 2019, he was appointed as an "Art Appraiser" for the first China International Calligraphy and Painting Competition, where he won "First Prize" with a prize of HK$2,000, and his work "Chinese Dragon Longevity" was permanently collected by the Hong Kong International Artists Association. In September 2021, he was awarded "Chinese Art Figure" and "National Treasure Level Art Inheritor" by the China and Foreign Famous People Cultural Research Association. In March 2022, he was appointed as Executive Vice President of the Planners' Calligraphy and Painting Academy of the China Planning Management Guidance Committee. In 2020, his work "Chinese Dragon Longevity" was collected by the Hong Kong government and scheduled for auction at Bonhams in March 2022. In May 2020, his work was auctioned by Huahui. He currently serves as President of China Calligraphy and Painting Network, President of China Hong Kong International Artists Association (Mainland China), a lifetime member of the International Famous People Encyclopedia, and is listed in "International Art Elites."
