伴随着三星堆遗址的考古发掘，大量珍贵文物重新和世人见面。
8号坑日前出土一件青铜残片上附着的丝绸实物残留，经纬组织非常明显，表层有一层类似于涂层的附着物，尺寸为1.8×0.8厘米，是目前三星堆发现的最明显也是最大面积的丝绸残留物。
考古队郭建波介绍，会对其表面的涂层以及它的显微结构做进一步分析，利用显微CT、高光谱，对它的材质以及形貌做进一步的判断。
丝绸实物残留之所以能保留下来，主要是因为青铜器为它提供了一种生存条件，就是青铜器的锈蚀物有抑菌作用，所以它在青铜器上保留下来的可能性非常大。
