  “兰陵美酒郁金香,玉碗盛来琥珀光”,古人的生活崇尚美食美器。在古人看来,美食莫过于美酒,《汉书》中有云:“酒者,天下之美禄。帝王所以颐养天下,享祀祈福,扶衰养疾,百会之礼,非酒不行。”而美器则莫过于美玉,中华民族在漫长文明演变过程中形成了独有的玉文化,并贯穿了中国数千年的文明史,历朝历代无不推崇美玉。当美酒与美玉相遇,古代的玉工匠人制作出了装饰与实用功能完美结合的玉酒具,这些流传至今的古代玉酒具,无一不是精美绝伦的艺术品。近代中国由于国力孱弱,诸多珍贵文物流失海外。民国时期最为严重的一次流失是洛阳金村大墓的盗掘,1928年夏秋之际,洛阳金村发现一处大型先秦时期墓葬,一时各地古物商贩、盗墓分子蜂拥而至,中外势力勾结,胁迫利诱当地村民公开大肆掘盗古墓。从1928年至1932年长达四年之久,在金村先后掘盗了战国时期大墓八座,出土数千件极为珍贵的古代文物。而这些珍贵文物大都被贩卖到海外,其中就包括诸多先秦时期的玉酒具珍品。笔者从国外博物馆官网展示的藏品中撷取一二略作赏鉴,以飨读者。

  在目前所见流失海外,档次最高的金村玉酒具当属现藏美国哈佛大学艺术博物馆(The Harvard Art Museums)的战国玉酒樽(图1),这件酒樽通高10.1、直径11.2厘米,重453克。玉樽由器身与器盖两部分组成,器身高7.7厘米,是一整块青白玉掏空雕琢而成,表面雕琢有相互勾连的乳钉纹,中间以一道宽突弦纹相隔成上下两部分。器身一侧有圈形把手,把手对应的一侧有一活环铺首。底部有三足。器盖隆起,上雕琢有阴线纹饰,中间有一可拆卸的活环,器盖边缘为鎏金铜边框,铸造有神兽纹,铜框上等距立有三只凤鸟。玉酒樽集玉器雕琢、青铜铸造、青铜鎏金工艺于一身,可谓是金玉结合的绝妙佳器。1933年经卢芹斋之手售卖于美国收藏家温索浦(Grenville L. Winthrop),1943年温索浦去世,将其捐赠给了哈佛大学。

  过去对于这类造型的酒器,受宋人吕大临《考古图》的影响,一直将其称之为奁,并且是古代文人摹古的常见造型。在加拿大皇家安大略博物馆(Royal Ontario Museum)中藏有一件明代仿古酒樽(图2),器高12.5、直径12.4厘米,青玉质地,圆筒状器身,下有三个熊足,器身表面雕琢有浮雕螭龙纹,其熊足与螭纹颇有汉代风韵,整体在当时作过烤色处理,玉樽底部有“永□保用”四字款。明代“自士大夫搜古以供嗜好,纨绔子弟翕然成风,不吝金帛悬购”(李日华《味水轩日记》),这件仿古酒樽正是当时嗜古之风的产物,已经由最初的盛酒器转变为文人文房雅器。

  《汉书·外戚传下》中有云:“顾左右兮和颜,酌羽觞兮销忧。”自东周至魏晋,耳杯(即羽觞)是较为常见的高档饮酒器,战汉时期耳杯多为漆器,玉耳杯则颇为罕见。在美国哈佛大学艺术博物馆中收藏有一对据传出自洛阳金村大墓的战国玉耳杯(图3),耳杯长13.5、宽9.8厘米,青玉质地,局部受沁为鸡骨白状态,耳杯为椭圆形,双耳镂空作卷云纹造型且双耳两侧各有一面对面的兽首纹,耳杯外侧为勾连云纹、云纹中间各一兽面纹,耳杯内底部为阴刻卷云纹。1929年这对耳杯经日本山中定次郎经营的山中商会售卖温索浦,1943年入藏哈佛博物馆。美国佛利尔美术馆(Freer Gallery of Art)中亦藏有据传出自金村战国墓的玉耳杯(图4),长13.2、宽10.6厘米,青玉质地,形制与哈佛所藏相似,在耳杯内底有阴刻双凤造型(图5),大概是为了让当时玉杯主人在举杯一饮而尽时展示于宾客。这件耳杯在1931年经卢芹斋之手售卖于佛利尔美术馆。

  卢芹斋是近代中国大古董商之一,此人活跃在北京、上海、巴黎和纽约的艺术交易品市场上长达半个多世纪,近代包括洛阳金村大墓文物在内的不少珍贵文物就是经由卢芹斋的运作流向西方。佛利尔美术馆所藏另一件金村玉杯亦出自卢芹斋之手(图6),其高5.1、宽9.8、长11.3厘米,玉杯口部有一短槽流,流槽的下方阴刻有倒转的饕餮纹,与流相对的一侧腹部则微微内收,杯壁饰有勾连云纹,玉杯整体造型类似于当时流行的青铜匜,是件很少见的战国高档玉酒器。
